April 25, 2010 Diamondbacks 7, Phillies 3

Arizona averts the sweep with three quick first inning runs off of Kyle Kendrick via back-to-back homers, a 2-runner by Justin Upton and a solo shot for Mark Reynolds. The Phillies do come back and tie the game, but the D'Backs come through with a 4 run 8th inning with a Kelly Johnson homer, an RBI single for Adam Laroche, and a singe for Gerardo Parra that is overrun by Ross Gload (getting the start in right with Shane Victorino having the day off) for an error good for two more runs. Upton falls a triple shy of the cycle with a 4 for 4 day and two doubles, while Phillie shortstop Wilson Valdez makes the most of his first start of the season with a 3 for 4 day including his first homerun of the year, a game-tying 2-run homer in the 7th.
