Upton falls a triple shy of the cycle with a 4 for 4 day and two doubles, while Phillie shortstop Wilson Valdez makes the most of his first start of the season with a 3 for 4 day including his first homerun of the year, a game-tying 2-run homer in the 7th. |

Upton had a good day at the plate. He popped a two-run clout over the fence
in the 1st inning, doubled in the 3rd inning, stroked a single in the 6th

victory.
