Florida fans certainly got their money's worth at Sun Life Stadium. Josh
Johnson(2-1) pitched a rare no-hitter as the Florida Marlins toppled the
Cincinnati Reds 5 to 0.
Johnson was cheered on with every out from the 7th inning onward. The
adrenaline had to be just pumping through his veins. The atmosphere was
electric out there in Sun Life Stadium tonight! He walked 2 Cincinnati
batters. The tension was mounting with every inning after the 6th. Johnson
appeared oblivious himself to the mounting history until two were out in the
9th. Only then, did he allow himself one deep sigh and a slow trip around
the mound. Johnson whiffed an impressive total of 14 Cincinnati batters.
Florida rapped out 8 hits for the night.
Aaron Harang(0-3) was charged with the loss. 'Johnson was simply incredible'
losing pitcher Harang said. 'I hate to admit this but I'd pay to watch a man
pitch like that'
