Dobbs is scheduled to lead off the Phillie 8th, so i pinch-hit with regular third baseman Placido Polanco, and Polanco starts the winning rally with a single, After a walk for Chase Utley and a single for Jayson Werth, Ibanez follows with his heroics. |

In a close game the Philadelphia Phillies got by the Atlanta Braves by the
score of 4 to 2.
J.C. Romero(1-0) slammed the door shut in an excellent relief performance. He
was flawless in relief in his 2/3 of an inning. Both teams finished the game
with 8 hits.
Romero got help from Chad Durbin who was credited with his 1st save. Kris
Medlen(0-1) took the loss in relief. Philadelphia now has a record of 9-6.
The loss by Atlanta interrupted a nice 8-2 recent run.
