| In a very quick 2:23, Roy Halladay finally pitches more like he should, dispatching the Reds with ease on the 5-hitter striking out 12 as the Phils salvage a game out of the series. Aaron Harang was no slouch for Cincinnati, but Halladay could not be beated today. It all gives Harang his 11th loss of the season, second most in the majors. The most losses goes to Paul Maholm of the Pirates, with the Terry Felton-esque record of 1-12. He already has Felton beat just by winning a game, as Felton was 0-13 in 1982. But Maholm might have a shot at coming close to Anthony Young, who was 2-14 for the Mets in 1992 and then topped that off with a 1-16 mark in 1993 for a combined total of 3-30!! |
