May 27, 2010 Mets 3, Phillies 2

Chris Carter of the Mets takes the first pitch from Chad Durbin in the 7th inning and deposits it into the seats for his first major league homerun, which gives the Mets a 3-2 lead. That would be the only mistake that Durbin makes, but it is enough as the Phils can't come through against the relief tandem of Raul Valdez and Francisco Rodriguez as New York takes the rubber game of the series. K-Rod gets save number 18, two off the major league lead of 20 held by former Phillie Billy Wagner of the Braves.
