| Sloppy games on both sidesof the field with a total of 5 errors commited, including two for Adrian Beltre, and it is an unearned run for the Red Sox on an error by Juan Castro in the 8th that breaks a 4-all tie and three straight singles in the 9th for Beltre, Jeremy Hermida and Victor Martinez for another run that is the margin of victory. A 3-1 Phillie lead after the first inning is wasted. Jonathan Papelbon takes the Crapelbon out of his name today with a spotless 9th save for a hit and records his 7th save. Danys Baez gets the loss in relief for the Phils. The Sox have won the first two, and go for the sweep by sending Tim Wakefield (2-3, 3.56) to the hill to take on the very underachieving so far Roy Halladay (3-4, 4.32). |
