May 8, 2010 Phillies 10, Braves 2

The top three in the order go a combined 10 for 14 at the plate as the Phillies put double digits on the Braves for the second straight day. Leadoff batter Shane Victorino gets four hits and #2 Greg Dobbs makes the most of today's start at third base by stroking three hits along with driving in four teammates, with both Victorino and Dobbs each falling a triple shy of hitting for the cycle. Number 3 man Placido Polanco pipes in for three singles of his own to add to the 15 hit onslaught. A rough first inning for Joe Blanton when he allows two runs right out of the gate, but it was all Phillies from there and it all gives Blanton his first win for the season.

Chipper Jones chimes in for a three hit day in a losing cause for Atlanta.
