May 14, 2010 Red Sox 6, Tigers 3

JD Drew's 8th homerun of the year and 3 RBIs for Darnell McDonald lead the charge as the Sox have no problem taking the roar out of the Tigers. Detroit does make some noise in the 9th though with Miguel Cabrera punching one over the wall off of the continuing to struggle Manny Declarmen good for two runs, so now with a three run lead Paps comes in for the unexpected save and retires three straight for save number 5.

Clay Buchholz(2-2) pitched well for Boston in their victory.  He surrendered 4

Boston out-hit Detroit 10 to 5.  
 
Buchholz was helped out by Jonathan Papelbon who recorded his 5th save.  Max
Scherzer(3-5) was the losing pitcher.  He pitched 5 innings giving up 5 hits
and 3 walks.
