Jake Westbrook(7-4), with relief help from Chris Perez, shut down the
Philadelphia Phillies hitters at Citizen's Bank Park. The Cleveland Indians
came away with a 7 to 0 victory.
Cleveland wasted no time and took the lead in the first inning plating one
baserunner on 2 base hits. That early scoring held up. Cleveland had 10
hits for the game and Philadelphia had 7.
Westbrook got help from Perez who earned his 11th save. Kyle Kendrick(6-3)
took the loss. He allowed 3 runs and 7 hits in 7 innings.
