| No Tommy John surgery yet at this point for Jamie Moyer, but he shows some left holding the Jays to no earned runs for the game. Danyz Baez and Brad Lidge take the final 1 2/3, with Lidge getting the save. The opponent today, Brett Cecil, was born in the same year that Moyer was a rookie with the Cubs (1986). Nothing like beating a pitcher who could literrally be your son! |
