| Just called up from Pawtucket, Felix Dubront makes his major league debut on the Fenway hill and gets his first (obviously) major league win in a steady performance as the Dodgers travel to the opposite coast and make their first appearance at Fenway Park in six years. This also marks the return to Boston for former Soxer and future Broward County jailbird Manny Ramirez, who is a non-factor. Just in case you didn't hear about it: http://articles.sun-sentinel.com/2011-09-13/sports/fl-manny-ramirez-arrested-in-weston-20110912_1_manny-ramirez-tampa-bay-rays-battery |

First baseman Kevin Youkilis went yard and had 2 RBI as the Boston Red Sox
outscored the Los Angeles(NL) Dodgers 4 to 2.
Boston claimed the early lead in the first inning when they came up with 2
runs on 2 hits. The big moment was provided by Youkilis who elicited a roar
from the hometown fans when he popped a two-run clout over the fence.
Neither team managed to score after the 4th inning.
The win was credited to Felix Doubront(1-0) who went 6 innings allowing 2
runs. Ramon Ramirez recorded his 5th save. Carlos Monasterios(4-4) absorbed
the loss.
Boston now has a record of 37-32. With the loss, the Los Angeles(NL)
ballclub's record is 38-29.
